Parallel Mining (TSX-V: PAL) is focused on the development of high-value, high-potential advanced gold exploration projects in West Africa.
The Company’s primary focus is the Garsay and Sebe gold projects in Burkina Faso. The highly prospective Garsay property is located in the Djibo Birimian Greenstone Belt, approximately 30 kilometers east of Avocet Mining’s (LON:AVM) Inata Gold Mine and Souma deposit which has 4.6 million ounces of gold. The Sebe Project is located between Endeavour Mining’s Hounde Project and Acacia Mining’s South Hounde deposit in the Houndé Belt, which is considered an emerging and highly prospective region for gold mineralisation in south-western Burkina Faso.
To advance these two projects, Parallel Mining has assembled a group of resource sector professionals with a strong track record of success in both Burkina Faso and globally. Currently, Burkina Faso is the fastest growing gold producer in Africa, ranked 4th on the continent in Current Mineral Potential Index*. Since 2013, seven gold mines have been put in to production in Burkina Faso.
